THRUST AREAS
Biodiversity Conservation, Sustainable Development, Agriculture and Food Security
SAF works towards the conservation of biodiversity with emphasis on wetlands, mangroves, paddy fields and forests involving survey, research and advocacy. Ecological/organic farming, the fundamental solution for  food security, will be the key area of work of SAF which will be carried out in a participatory mode involving local farmers and NGOs. Sustainable development, the only proven alternative for the present day development, is the major theme area of activities of SAF.
